About Poppies Bed & Breakfast

Poppies Bed & Breakfast is situated on 21/4 acres is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a rural settlement.

A long drive takes you to the house and bed & breakfast suites. All of the stylish 4 suites have their own entrance and  deck, giving you the joy of coming and going as you desire. No getting up early for breakfast, as a delicious breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door the night before.  Enjoy Port & chocolates on the deck at the end of the day.                                          

Each room is different,  individually decorated for your comfort. Relax with afternoon tea on arrival, before you unpack. The rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning for year round comfort, and the French doors open  wide to look out onto the large dam with its bird life and beautiful gardens.

A spacious kitchenette with all the essentials is at your fingertips. Make a snack, an easy quick meal if you are too tired to go out. Mooloolah and all local areas have quality restaurants.
The decore is smart and very comfortable. The very comfortable beds are queen size with quality linen.                                                               

The rooms are stocked with TV, radio, DVD & CD  players, books, magazines, CD’s & DVD’s
Each bathroom is different, if you would like a romantic claw bath ask us. The showers are large, the towells soft and fluffy, robes and hair dryers supplied for your comfort.

A spacious deck overlooking the dam is another place for all guests to get together for a chat or a quiet drink.
The shady grounds are ideal to curl up with a good book or to enjoy a BBQ

We want you to feel relaxed and away from the busy world, yet if you need something it is only 5 – 10 mins away.  Mooloolah Village (3km ) is cute and well stocked with everything you may need

BBQ facilities are available and BBQ & picnic hampers can be organized for you with a couple of hours notice.

If you are a keen walker cross the road and walk around the peaceful Ewan Maddock Dam, take a swim and a short walk back to “Poppies”. Better still if you have bought your canoe, go paddling why not take a picnic lunch. 3km away is a 9 hole golf course.  A full course at Pelican Waters and Beerwah.

No visitor to this area would miss the incredible Australian Zoo. Only 10 mins awayYou must spend at least a whole day there. Horse riding.

Aussie World and Ettamogah are close by as is the Go Kart Track and the ancient Glasshouse Mountains.

Caloundra beaches only 15mins away.
