Poppies Bed and Breakfast is situated on 2 1/4 acres and is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a rural settlement of the Mooloolah Valley. If you are a keen walker cross the road and walk around the peaceful Ewan Maddock Dam, take a swim and a short walk back to “Poppies Bed and Breakfast”. Book in time is 2.00PM and Book out time is 11.00am

About Mooloolah Valley     

Mooloolah is located on the Sunshine Coast. The word Mooloolah is an Aboriginal word, which means “Black Snake”

A relaxing, charming country town with good shopping, café & restaurant. Just 1 hour from Brisbane Airport, 15 mins from Caloundra’s  beaches and 15 mins from the Glasshouse Mountains, close to many tourist attractions including the famous Australia Zoo – Big Kart Track – Aussie World & Ettamogah Pub & golf courses all situated on the Sunshine Coast
A rail link is available to and from Brisbane and the North.

Mooloolah’s unique environment with the Mooloolah River meandering through the valley amongst elevated ridges and pasture improved slopes is appealing to the eye. The charm is complimented by many scenic spots which give it the special, peaceful feel visitors and locals speak of. Surrounded by dozens of water pockets, large trees, bright flowers and a bounty of wildlife.

The recreational Ewan Maddock Dam offers quiet walks, horse riding, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and a shady picnic & BBQ area.
